Race Choice: Orc, Mag’Har Orc, Dark Iron Dwarf
You won’t get a prize for creativity if you choose to wear the whole set as it is used by a lot of Warriors, especially orcs.
It looks damned good though (well only the mythic version) and the pieces are good for combining into your own more creative transmogs.
Can of course be used with The Black Hand as shown below. But also looks great with a bunch of different fiery-type weapon transmogs.
9. Primal Gladiator’s Plate Armor
How To Get It: Buy from Warlords PvP Vendor for 12 Marks of Honor.
Match With: Imbued Qalashi Poleaxe, Gurthalak, Voice of the Deeps
Race Choice: Human, Undead, Troll
This set is a bit rough around the edges, but overall it looks great.
The blue glow on the Alliance version really stands out and pairs well with many blue glowy weapons.
It also looks good on most races.
8. Battlegear of Wrath
How To Get It: Blackwing Lair
Match With: Fang of Twilight, The Untamed Blade
Race Choice: Orc
As far as classic sets go, we picked Battlegear of Wrath over Might but both sets have their fans.
Like other older sets, it looks a bit flat, especially the legs, belt, and chest, but it can be combined with some newer pieces to update the look.
Combine with a classic weapon to complete the look!
7. Colossal Dragonplate Battlegear
How To Get It: Dragon Soul
Match With: Shtuf’s Ruler,
Race Choice: Void Elf, Nightborne, Orc
The unnatural glow is what makes this set really great, especially the Heroic version. No other set really has this hue.
For this reason, it is quite hard to find a good weapon that fits the set. Below it is paired with Shtuf’s Ruler which has a similar glow.

It pairs well with fiery weapons of all types and looks great on Warrior Dwarves and Dark Iron Dwarves.

The regular old Onslaught armor looks great, and so do all the versions of the Titanic Onslaught. But the clear winner here is the Mythic version.
The other versions have some great pieces though that can be combined for some great transmogs.
The green glow is very unique and works great if you want that Fel look.
3. Juggernaut Battlegear
How To Get It: Antorus, the Burning Throne
Match With: Warswords of the Valarjar
Race Choice: Kul Tiran, Orc or Dwarf
To be honest, only the Mythic version of this set is really great. The colors on the other versions are a bit off, and the sword details on the mythic version make the whole look.
The set features bulky plate armor that is both intimidating and powerful.
The boots are also great which is rare for sets.
2. Battlegear of Iron Wrath / Wild Gladiator’s Plate Armor
How To Get It: Hellfire Citadel or Warlords of Draenor PvP
Match With: Dread Gladiator Weapons / Honorbound Weapons with the Wild Gladiator’s Plate.
Race Choice: Orc or Tauren
Great colors and hues on this set if you want something that’s not too crazy. All the individual pieces look great.
All the different versions look awesome, personally, I dislike the Mythic Battlegear the most, but that is just my personal preference.

How To Get It: Battle of Dazar’alor
Match With: Tal’rak, Bloody Skull of the Thunderlords, Crushto’s Neck Separator, Worldrending Claymore
Race Choice: Troll, Orc, Tauren or Undead
If it’s one thing you come by a lot as a Warrior in Azeroth, it’s the bones of your enemies. So why not put those bones to use?
With the Gravelord’s Direplate set you can see how a clever warrior has used his arts and crafts skills to make armor out of old bones. Well done!
The shoulder is especially unique and can be combined with other transmog armor and weapons to make some cool bony looks.
