While some players have already dinged 60 and is already gearing up in Shadowlands, others have barely played the expansion.
The most common issue seems to be a blank character select screen which players sometime run into after having been queued for hours.
After getting through to character select myself, I only got as far as the loading screen which got stuck at 90% (another common problem) and then it was back to the queue.
After waiting through the queue again, the server went down.
The EU servers Kazzak, Draenor and Silvermoon seems to be especially troubled, partly due to very high populations, but there are plenty of isssues on both the EU and US side.
Many players are currently voicing their opinions and asking for transfers in the tech support forums with little to no respons from Blizzard.
Blizzard did acknowledge the issues in a recent tweet and is working on the issues. EU-Kazzak is down at the moment while a fix is being worked on.
